Plot Summary:
|
When an strange underwater object disables an American atomic-powered submarine and attacks a submerged Arctic experimentation complex, a scientific mission flies to the North Pole to investigate these incidents as proficiently as the surprising, mystifying take to the streets in temperature that threatens to melt the ice respectfully and flood the surface of the world.
The American nuclear-powered attack submarine USS Jimmy Carter is attacked by a mysterious underwater object which stalks and disables the Seawolf-class super-sub with a powerful electromagnetic pulse. The underwater arctic in... vestigation complex Hubris witnesses the fight and reports a immediate succeed 1n the temperature of the Polaris Trench which threatens to decrease the ice lid and flow the exceptional's land top. At an emergency Amalgamated Nations well-organized talk, Hubris director Dr. Ann Fletcher is dismissed when she urges caution and her archrival Dr. Chomsky pushes including a far more assertive down to allot with the emergency.
