Plot Summary:
|
Aboard the magnificence liner Argonautica, a furtive and tiresome presence makes mincemeat of vacationing passengers, leaving only a handful of terrified survivors adrift at sea. Write a mercenary sailor and his crew, who ship aboard the ship in hopes of pilfering its riches--but instead find themselves the unaccountable monster's next prey. Goofy fun from the director of THE MUMMY.

The Critics Were Wrong
Slated by the critics, for a change. Its back to B-Movie gold, with this quality non stop creature feature. Good effects, fairly witty script and a buckett load of action.
Get your mates round have a few beers and enjoy.
Deep Rising
Ludicrous high-sea horror which has a maiden voyage turn into a nightmare when most of the passengers of the cruise ship Argonautica are eaten for breakfast by some plastic creatures emerging from the deep blue sea. It's all down to cynical Williams to save the day, but the humdrum dialogue and virtually suspense-free plot ensure that we're quickly rooting for the plastic monsters. Even the gratuitous violence can't save the day.
