Plot Summary:
|
When an arranged nuptials between Winner Van Dort and Victoria Everglot reaches the rehearsals, Victor starts to be vexed. Spending time by oneself in the forest, Conqueror decides to practice on his own. Entire lot seems to collapse d be remembered well, until he accidentally puts the ring upon the hand of a cadaver. Before he knows it, Champion is in the land of dead and under has a stiff bride. Whilst everyones worries in the matter of who Victoria drive marry in the come of the living, Prizewinner desperately finds a way to perceive back.

Beyond the macabre comedy and gothic perversity of Tim Burton's films lies a deep well of tender romanticism. It was the poignancy rather than the pointedness of Edward Scissorhands that made his first collaboration with Johnny Depp so exquisitely bizarre and it's to a peculiar tale of mismatched misfits that he returns in Corpse Bride. Produced at the same time as Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, this is a much smaller film: in its 77 minute runtime, in its cast of 12-inch high puppets, but most of all, its intimate range.

tim burton does it again....
i love tim burton films particularly when johnny depp is starring in them, so i could not wait to see this film. i was not disappointed it is amazing. it has a gothic feel to it, but still is witty and has an emotional edge to it. johnny depp is brilliant as the voice of the hapless hero, and the song and dance routines are fabulous.
this is well worth renting out.
