Plot Summary:
|
Al Bring up short is a famous sports-paragraphist chosen by Ty Cobb to co-write his official, authorized 'autobiography' ahead his ruin. Cobb, considerably feared and despised, feels misunderstood and wants to set the information unmodified about 'the greatest ball-gambler at all times,' in his words. However, when Stump spends time with Cobb, interviewing him and origin to write, he realizes that the general collective opinion is mostly correct.
