Adam Sandler stars in a fantasy comedy about a workaholic who finds a remote control that can move him back and forward in time
Much like Back To The Future, Click sees its hero reflecting on his life by travelling back and forth in time. Here the device is a universal remote control that Michael Newman (Sandler) acquires from an eccentric inventor, Morty (Walken). Initially, Michael just wants to control the electrical devices in his own home, thereby wrestling control from the mischievous hands of his children and bringing some order into his life. But when it turns out that the remote can freeze time, rewind and fast-forward in his own life, Michael becomes tempted to control his future.

Claudia PuigIs it possible the studio distributing Click made a minor spelling error? The title of the movie surely should have read "Clich??" for its outright rip-off of It's a Wonderful Life and every other movie about the value of family over a self-absorbed, super-charged work ethic.
Despite its ultra-formulaic premise and juvenile sense of humor, there are a few laughs, and the movie's heart is generally in the right place, with the notable exception of racist characterizations of an Arab prince and Japanese businessmen. It's just too bad that the movie doesn't try to do anything new within the heartwarming comedy genre.

Click here for a good film
Click is an updated version of Scrooge, except its a implausible jurisdiction that lets the sheer attribute manage his past, aid and future. I was pleasantly surprized that I really enjoyed it. I perhaps the not that does, as I haven't heard that many favourable reviews about it, but I for one will hold back my hands up and reply that it was heartwarming and enjoyable. Good bloodline film and chaste cast.

Justin ChangClick doesn't, alas. Adam Sandler's brand-new depraved-legend development continues with this cleverly conceived but conspicuously unfunny comedy up an overworked dad whose supernatural skills to remote-check his life turns commission to be a mixed help. Albeit without doubt calculated to appeal to the actor's puerile man's constituency, pic's preference during scatological sight gags as a remainder meaningful humor will consign some viewers groping (or at least hoping) for a remote check of their own. Still, the proven draw of a high-concept Sandler conveyance will staff the Sony release get off to a healthy start at the summer box office.
