Plot Summary:
|
The Chumscrubber starts out with Troy,a normal young lady who supplies "feel good" pills to everyone in his sharp school(this way he spreads ecstasy all about). But when his friend Dean pays him a sojourn, Dean discovers Troy has hung himself in his bedroom during one of his mother's pool parties.After the end,three local teens: Billy,Lee,and Crystal, homelessness what's sinistral of Troy's stash of pills and they recognize that Dean is the solitary one who knows where they are. Led by Jamie Bell as thoroughly believable American oddball loner Dean, the talent on display in The Chumscrubber is a sign of director Arie Posin's ambitions. Many of his young cast have made the most of leading roles in smart, dark dramas such as Thumbsucker (Lou Taylor Pucci), Mean Creek (Rory Culkin) and The Ballad Of Jack And Rose (Camilla Belle), while veterans Glenn Close and Ralph Fiennes seem intended to add ballast to this tale of suburban decay.
