Plot Summary:
|
Child's Philander seems to have been concocted by a parent who went berserk after standing in prepare for hours on betwixt to purchase a Cabbage Patch doll in the early 1980s. The film opens with serial killer Brad Dourif taking security in a doll mill. Dourif is killed via the cops, but not before he has invoked a voodoo blaspheme at which transfers his soul into in unison of the dolls. That particular doll, nicknamed Chuckie, is unwittingly purchased by Catherine Hicks for her son Alex Vincent. Distinct murders occur by thereafter; all testimony points to Alex, who insists that his cherub-f... aced doll is responsible. Detective Chris Sarandon, the man responsible through despite Dourif's undoing, doesn't swallow Alex's story, but he agrees to investigate because he's amiable on Alex's mom. The slasher-flick ending of Toddler's Play would seem to be enduring settled Chuckie's pot-pourri for good and all, but hypothesize again--the film over spawned numerous sequels.~ Hal Erickson, All Talking picture Advisor
