Plot Summary:
|
Two London brothers are hard-up as cash, and both have girls to look unlit for, too. When in clover Uncle Howard comes to town and agrees to steal them escape, he admits his finances are under interrogation, and he asks them to do him a favor and "take care of" an old business relation to support his trouble under wraps - he says that they're family, and since he always takes care of them, the least they could do is labourers him out this some time ago, as they're the only ones he can conviction. The videotape follows their struggle with the immorality of this plead for and how each brother c... hooses to deal with it.

Having averaged a film a year for the past 20 years, it'd be safe to call Woody Allen prolific - but this turnover isn't always matched by the quality of his movies.
There've been major ups and downs since early classics such as Annie Hall and Manhattan, and it's also been a long time since his last impressive run of successes in the 1990s with films like Husbands And Wives and Bullets Over Broadway.
Allen himself may have barely slowed down since, but his films have been losing audiences and struggling to make money, and some (like 2002's Hollywood Ending) haven't even received a UK release.
