Plot Summary:
|
A callow model is drugged, kidnapped and bound by to harrowing torture in a apartment of horrors in this spine chilling revulsion thriller. Jennifer is progeny, handsome and famous. Everybody knows her name and her popularity brings her the whole she wants in life- but a man mans jealousy lures Jennifer to a dimension in torture when she finds herself drugged, captured and held in an underground maze of mad dog. Taken against her will and open to to philosophical quartering, Jennifer straightway questions her sanity as her watchful tormentor pits her in numerous twisted traps. After strugglin... g to memorialize her brains, she meets with Gary, another convict in the sick games and together they try their wits to take a run-out powder from the cells and repulse the madman behind the sick games- but are they already too late when they are bound, gagged and stab into a of pain?

great film
It was a very twisted story line that keep me glued to the tv. It was what i expected but id liked it anyway.
Captivity
Robert AbeleThe vile billboards heralded it, the controversy stoked it, and now it's loose in public: Captivity, the latest in check-in-but-don't-check-out torture films. A spirit-sapping exercise in female degradation fantasy, it was directed by Roland Joff??, who has seen his career go from bewailing The Killing Fields of Cambodia to slobbering over the hell-maze of a hooded kidnapper/murderer. It's the movie business equivalent of encountering someone you once knew begging for money on the street.
Here's a question: Why do movies with Rube Goldberg-style tormenting contraptions avoid screenplay reason? The dumb logic ranges from head-scratching ??? as in the abduction scene, where a famous model (Elisha Cuthbert) is strangely unencumbered by friends, reps or hanger...
