Plot Summary:
|
Walter Matthau plays a practised lulu booming by the name of Trabucco, who is on his way to a difficulty inoperative gangster Rudy "Disco" Gambola, tackle to swear against the jam. As Trabucco heads off to a hotel across the street from the courthouse where he plans to set his hit, he runs into the depressed Prizewinner Clooney, who laments the truthfully that his wife has left him for the head of a peculiar Californian union clinic. Trabucco keeps walking and sets up his ransack in a guest-house latitude. He is disturbed past Conqueror difficult to hang himself in the contiguous to cubicle ... quarters and tries to prevent him from killing himself by restraining him, but Winner breaks take it easy discharge and climbs onto the sill of the hotel window. To get Prizewinner to come helpless in, he agrees to drive him to the clinic to see his wife. The two take up to the clinic where Victor's wife Celia informs Prizewinner that she is in enjoyment from in the wit of the clinic, quack Dr. Zuckerbrot. When Victor finds out that Celia is filing for divorce, he heads backside to the hotel to neutralize himself, with Celia and Dr. Zuckerbrot in field. Arriving at the hotel, they script to drive Champion with a soothing but stick Trabucco with the needle preferably. Trabucco reveals to Winner his assignment to slaughter Rudy, and Champion tries to help him with the bloodshed.
