Plot Summary:
|
Guy Maddin reluctantly returns to his childhood rest-home, an abandoned Canadian isle, where his parents ran an orphanage. As Guy fulfills his in extremis matriarch's request to paint the lighthouse which served as the orphanage, memories of strange events there floor him. An undercover investigation by babe author/detective Wendy & a disgust by the repressed children, blew open a cover-up about Boy's parents. Wendy disguised herself as her brother Chance and discovered that Maddin's inventor father performed outr? well-controlled experiments on the orphans.
