Bomb movies are always fun, and this one is no exception. Bridges is the cool bomb-disposal expert with the big secret, Jones the former IRA man wreaking havoc on a peaceful Boston with his home-made devices. It's all ludicrous, of course, but as always Bridges is entertaining to watch and, as the seconds tick away for the umpteenth time, the tension mounts. Now, which colour wire should be cut? Blown Away - GREAT!
Jimmy Dove works for the bomb squad in Boston and he is always the one who is on the tough jobs. One day he decides to quit the force and to become a teacher for the rookies of the squad. A few days later his former partner is killed by a bomb and Jimmy becomes suspicious that maybe this bomb could have been built by a former friend of himself. He begins his own investigation. Great Action Adventure with thrilling scenes.
Blown Away
Nothing fallacious with this film. Jeff Bridges is ok as a bomb guy. Tommy Lee Jones is excellent with the U2 soundtrack to add profusion of ambience, and I ethical Forrest Whitaker whatever he does. 1st viewing of this haze had me on the edge of my seat for 1 sight, particular splendidly directed it was. Rent it, dont positive why its got a unhealthy rating!
