super
a very good film the story of a pig who possesses the power to see the future and the lad who looks after him and the tale of the said black cauldron the horned king must be stopped at all cost i enjoyed this my self the kids however did tend to go off and do other things if you want to look at this and have younger children a vetting yourself before hand maybe useful there is some scary stuff near the end
A Disney animated classic
I love this movie, except for the ending its quite open ended with no definite conclusion, but maybe they were going to make a sequel? Animation is brilliant where people look like people in the classic style of Disney. An unlikely hero who dreams of being a hero finds it harder than he thinks! aided by a beautiful princess not afraid to speak her mind and not helpless and an not so truthful ministrel and a furball! A winning combination. The story is good but because of the ending one star is dropped.
Black Cauldron, The
The most distinguished essentials of this medium-rated Disney enthusiasm, from a Tolkien-like series by Lloyd Alexander, is the ecclesiastical articulation of raconteur John Huston. Differently, it's rule stuff with agreeable teenagers (of assuredly!) trying to give up the Horned King and co from using a witchcraft cauldron to raise an Army of the Dead. As swords-and-sorcery, it's potboiling bosh.
