"Rok" Solid Comedy
I hear there are people that get Adam Sandler, and people that don't. I really pity the ones that don't because they are missing out on a fresh voice in comedy films - starting with Sandler's first "Billy Madison." The story follows Sandler as he goes back to school, completing the 1st through the 12th grade in 24 weeks, which is a great setup from the start. If the movie merely followed through on its premise it would probably have been decent. But Sandler goes beyond the premise, introducing jokes from all sides, he isn't above a low, juvenile joke, but he often follws it with an even more absurd one, worthy of a reincarnate Monty Python. This is his first and his best - a brilliantly foolish film.
For Human beings....
Childish, rude, stupid, wrong and meaningless are all the reasons why this film is so great. Not Adam Sandler's greatest movie (Happy Gilmore) but still a classic. If you Don't like laughing or showing any sort of emotions then this film isn't for you (freak), but if you do have a shred of humanity in you then you WILL enjoy this little know gem. Blah blah blah. The End
