A British dim with a French director, conflicting American and British stars, gang in piddling town Oregon but filmed in Canada, Wales and the Isle of Man - Big Nothing sounds like an awkward proposition. And in truly, Jean-Baptiste Andrea's film does have an indeterminate, placeless tolerate to it, but that doesn't terminus it being a stylish exercise in a problematical genre: comedy noir.
