Beyond Rangoon
Arquette is the woman who heads for Burma to judge and get over the kill of her mate and son. Lousy move, as it happens, for she arrives just in time in behalf of the violent public revolt, and is phony to try and escape on foot to Thailand after losing her passport. This has great hope but not realises it - unsure whether it is an adventure talking picture or a grim portrayal of a country in turmoil, it manages to be neither.
