Plot Summary:
|
In an achievement to realize the missing astronaut Taylor, Brent goes on a rescue trade to the planet of the apes. Using the advice he receives from the ape village that Taylor escaped from, Brent locates him in an alternative fortress in the forbidden zone guarded aside telepathic humans.

This first sequel to 1968's Planet Of The Apes was hampered from the start of production. Despite the massive impact of the first movie, Charlton Heston refused to reprise his role as George Taylor in anything other than a cameo capacity.
