Batman Forever
A superior-theatrical sequel, with the vein set through the redesigned, ever-more fetishistic Batman apparel, the arrival of Robin, and the unrestrained antics of The Riddler; it's fun for much of the moment.
Batman Forever
"...True to its unbridled facetious spirit....[Carrey makes] turbulent and artful displays of actual comedy..."
Batman Forever
Although it performed well at the box office, the critics were less than convinced by the murky turn bewitched during Batman Returns. So, when Tim Burton said no to a third outing, Warners brought in the flamboyant Joel Schumacher. As a result, this entry is nowhere verge on as dark as its predecessors, flush with however the brooding Val Kilmer took all about the Dark Knight's mantle from Michael Keaton. However, it's easily the funniest and the fastest of the quartet to assignation, with the action hurtling along at a careless pace. Repudiate c deceive in stylish special effects from a group that includes the famed John Dykstra and Oscar-nominated photography from Stephen Goldblatt, and you suffer with a rousingly undemanding piece of popcorn fodder.
