Plot Summary:
|
Captain Spaulding, the famous explorer, returns from Africa and attends a gala party held nearby Mrs. Rittenhouse. A painting displayed at that champion is stolen, and the Marxes help recapture it. An allow the Marx Brothers, and a cheer the same in patches, though peaceful and stagebound in treatment. The boys are all in pinnacle codify, and many of the conference exchanges are classics.

The Marx Brothers' second videotape, made after the attainment of The Cocoanuts (1929), this deliriously inventive caper was taken from their Broadway entertainment of the same name. African explorer Captain Jeffrey T Spaulding (the 'T' stands for Edgar, seemingly) is invited to a Lengthy Isle mansion owned not later than Mrs Rittenhouse (Margaret Dumont) for a soiree. The plot - which features a brace of young lovers, a priceless oil painting and various shenanigans - exists only to be trashed alongside the Brothers' good comic antics.
