Plot Summary:
|
In this raucous Disney accommodation of Jules Verne's classic adventure novel Round THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS, Steve Coogan plays Phileas Fogg, a quirky inventor at the turn of the 20th century. After trial spurning not later than England's Royal Academy of Subject, Fogg strives to prove his scientific value nigh accepting a challenge to circumnavigate the ball in a mere 80 days. Fogg, his companion Passepartout (Jackie Chan), and his unusual mad about Monique (Cecile de France), find trouble and excitement as they make their in progress from Turkey to Morocco to the United States, and in the final Fogg discovers that scientific validation is not all he needs for a successful life.
