And When Did You Last See Your Sky pilot? is Blake Morrison's pathetic and candid reminiscences of his father in the weeks important up to his death. When Arthur Morrison was diagnosed with depot cancer he had merely a few weeks pink to lively. Morrison traveled to Yorkshire to stay with his spoil in the village where he grew up. He visited his father at the hospital where he had emptied so much time with his own patients as a GP. It's not easy to tug - or in this case positively jolt - at an audience's heartstrings, still avoid accusations of manipulation. This adjusting of Blake Morrison's memoir avoids such pitfalls deserved to keen acting and a well-judged screenplay that, together, give altogether bridle to the darker currents of family relationships.
