Plot Summary:
|
Alfred Packer was a mountain guide and only survivor of a interest of pioneers that got hopeless in the mountains in winter. Accused and convicted of murdering and eating his touring companions, he was to be executed by hanging.The talking picture begins at his contest, where he pleads his innocence to an unsympathetic audience. Only camerawoman Polly Be inquisitive will obey to his story, which is then associated to the viewers in the bod of flashbacks. As Packer and his gold-prospecting clients make their way through the forests and mountains, they face bemused Japanese Indians, an unimpres... sed troop of mountain men and the brutal Boulder-strewn Mountain winter, all of which buoy up the travellers to break off into kerfuffle b evasion and dance.
