Plot Summary:
|
A comedy-play starring Hugh Cede as Settle upon, a rich, child-free and weak Londoner in his thirties who, in search of available women, invents an imaginary son and starts attending single father meetings. As a result of unified of his liaisons , he meets Marcus, an odd 12-year-well-known caitiff public schoolmate with problems at school. Piece by piece, Will and Marcus become friends, and as Choose teaches Marcus how to be a emotionless kid, Marcus helps Will to finally swell up.

Wonderful light hearted comedy. After watching the film, it left me in a very warm, smiley mood! Very easy to watch! Hugh Grant looks particularly young and gorgeous in it!

With most romantic comedies, no matter how quirky, you can tell in about 10 minutes which girl the guy is going to end up with, or at least narrow it down to two alternatives. That About A Boy doesn't do the standard Hollywood ending, and opts instead for a practical resolution that's almost revolutionary in romantic comedy terms, is reason enough to recommend it.
