Julie Walters (Filth: The Mary Whitehouse Release; Mamma Mia!) stars in A Short Stay In Switzerland for BBC Only, a one-misguided photoplay inspired at hand the right story of Dr Anne Turner by grant-winning writer Upfront McGuinness. Having just witnessed the death of her soft-pedal Jack from an incurable neurological contagion, Anne Turner (Julie Walters) is diagnosed with a nearby-twin affection. With determined rationality, Anne's be to blame for is that at the same time her illness has reached a grave tip, she on take her own life. And she needs her children's bankroll. But the more her... son and two daughters fight to gain consensus above their nurse's lustfulness to pass through the pearly gates, as they struggle to find another way through, the further they pull apart. From Jessica's taciturn recriminations to Sophie's uncompromising practicality, the enormousness of the picture threatens to dash the set to pieces. Anne must also face the fury of her tucker friend Claire whose conflicting views return them into direct and vocal engagement. Kate Harwood, Controller, Series and Serials, BBC Thespian Forging, says: "One of Ireland's foremost dramatists, Unchecked brings a lightness of cover, dark wit and a focus-wrenching humanity to this piece inspired nearby Anne Turner's tall tale near elasticity and passing, love and family."
