Plot Summary:
|
A humble, seemingly innocuous pliable reel of film leads scrutiny connoisseur Tom Welles down an increasingly dark and unspeakable path. Nicholas Cage at his best.
An amazing film, Cage is at his acting best in this violent and harrowing film about a young runaway girl who is killed filming a underground snuff movie after being lured in with the promise of fame. Watching 8MM I felt genuinely sad but also at the same time, utterly thrilled. A must see film, not for the faint-hearted though.
