007 World Is Not Enough, The
This was your typical James Bond film, fine if you are a die hard fan of bond movies, just dont expect anything new from this film. The plot was same as all the rest with all the same tired cliche`s and your typical "where's Bond? Oh he's with woman" ending. Watch it if you have nothing else to do, else give it a miss. (you will only end up seeing it repeatedly on future Bank Holidays anyway.)
the second best bond film, great!
' The World Is Not Enough' is based on
a title of a bond book that Ian Fleming was going to write but never did.
from screenwriters Neal Purvis and
Robert Wade who work on the script with
Bruce Fierstein who helped Michael France and Jeffrey Caine on ' Goldeneye' and wrote ' Tomorrow Never Dies' all on his own. basically,
Bond takes on the evil terrorist Victor Zockas a. k. a. Renard the russian anarchist. Renard [ Robert Carlyle] had captured and tortured young woman named Elektra King played by Sophie Marceau.
bond is on a mission to protect her, stop Renard and save the world, simple as that. but things become more and more complicated and Bond needs help from nuclear science Dr Christmas Jones played by Denise Richards. ...
