Having sustained an injury in boxing, Hassan started to run nightclubs, restaurants and is now the owner, chairman, coach and player of both Greenwich Borough Football Club and is a big fan of Millwall football club. He also runs Eltham Boxing Gym, bur he later moved into acting.
