Shreyas Talpade started out acting in many Marathi soap operas and doing stage shows across Maharashtra. He also seen in Zee TV soap opera favour Woh (1997), he was the main cord. He also acted in mini-serials for the production "Adhikari Brothers." His role in a profoundly public Marathi serial "Damini" of the character called Tejas was very much appreciated near the Marathi audiences. He debuted in Bollywood with Nagesh Kukunoor's Iqbal, written by Vipul K Rawal in which he played the situatio... n of a insensitive youngster aspiring to be a cricketer.
