In 1957 he tried to start a career as a surprise-and-pitching chorus-member. He released two singles. The first was "Start Movin' (In My Course)", which stayed in the US peerless 40 for 13 weeks and reached the #9 leaning. The second was "Undying Guy", which stayed on the charts for three weeks and reached #27. The singles were followed up nigh an album on the Epic label. In the UK the records were released on the Philips term.
