Slight, grey-templed, bespectacled actor Harry Hayden was throw out to best asset as small-hamlet cumulate proprietors, city attorneys and minor bureaucrats. Dividing his eventually between Broadway and screen work up from 1936, Hayden became one of the busiest members of Key Casting, appearing in everything from A-pictures Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939) to the RKO 2-reelers of Leon Errol and Edgar Kennedy.
