Frances Sternhagen was pacific in her teens when she made her essential professional showbiz bearing as the thirtyish Laura in a 1948 summer-stock radio show of The Glass Menagerie. On TV, Frances Sternhagen enjoyed sizable roles on such daytime dramas as Love of Life, Anybody Life to Live, Secret Roar, and was seen on a pleasant basis in the prime-time series Spencer (1985, as Millie Sprague), Stephen Sovereign's the Delightful Years (1991, as Gina Williams) and The Turnpike About (1994, as Charlotte Babineaux).
