Clive Barker is identical of the premiere contemporary writers of horror novels. Born, raised and cultivated in England, Barker started out as naught, playwright and director of a negligible theater bunch in London that staged such interestingly titled plays as Frankenstein in Love and The Record of the Ogre. When not working at the theater, Barker began expos‚ short horror stories.

... de began appearing in magazines. Eventually his stories were published as a three supply set and titled The Books of Blood. They became quite stylish and enabled Barker to begin calligraphy and directing horror films; he also worked as overseer producer on some of his films. As a filmmaker, Barker attempts to think up serious, non-campy dislike films. He debuted as a director in 1987 with Hellraiser, which is based on everyone of his novellas and features a label Barker calls "the Noel Scaramouche of the lower depths," but who audiences more affectionately refer to as "Pinhead." The murkiness was a critical and caddy-corporation achievement. Barker went on to disclose two sequels and to every now act in films. More recently, he has moved toward writing cabrication fiction.
In 1992, he wrote and illustrated a children's engage, The Privateer of Ever after.
