Alexander Tulloch Macqueen is a British actor, born in Epsom, Surrey, in 1974. He has appeared on television, film and radio in the UK in productions such as Holby City, Hut 33, The Thick of It, and Keeping Mum.
Macqueen has a recurring role as Consultant Anaesthetist Keith Greene in 53 episodes of Holby City since 2005. He has also appeared in The Thick of It as Julius Nicholson. In addition, Macqueen recently appeared as Kevin Sutherland (Neil's Dad) in E4's comedy, The Inbetweeners. He has also been in TV advertisements including ones for Specsavers, Dell and Utterly Butterly.

Macqueen studied English Literature at Durham University, followed by studying for a M.Phil at Pembroke College, Cambridge, graduating in 1998. . He was a member of the National Youth Theatre between 1992 and 1995. He then went on to train as a barrister at the Middle Temple. He worked as a Business Affairs Executive for Granada International and has also worked in the House of Commons with a member of the Culture & Media Select Committee, specifically working during the creation of the Broadcasting Act 1996.
Macqueen recently starred as "Roy Tunt" in The Hide, which premiered on FilmFour in February 2009. He also appears in the film In the Loop, directed by Armando Iannucci, as Sir Jonathan Tutt, British Ambassador to the UN. This was a follow-up to Macqueen's role as "Julius Nicholson", the Blue-Skies Advisor, in political satire The Thick of It, also directed by Iannucci. Macqueen also appears in the joint colloboration between Comedy Central and the BBC, Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire, which begins its TV run in Spring 2009. Macqueen plays 'Barnabus', the sidekick to the Chancellor Dongalor, played by British comedian Matt Lucas, whom Macqueen earlier acted alongside in The Wind in the Willows.
Macqueen has also appeared in a series of videos on YouTube as "Clive Rudloe", a character who is allegedly the world's number one DJ. The videos are spoofs created by real-life DJs Above and Beyond.
